February 2010 I wrote this a while ago...sry!

Wow, I am catching up quick. I will be so glad when I am caught up, and I am going to try and be better about keeping caught up. Good thing I have access at work. For now anyway...

February included more overtime. Oh joy! I started slacking on overtime though because I was getting burnt out and my migraines were coming on way too much. I have been having daily headaches since like September. Stress? Too much working? huh? Who knows.

Valentine's day was nothing too special. We did however go to The Friendly Toast in Portsmouth NH and yea it is always amazing when we get to go. We also "lost" Kassaundra's paci. It ended up being in the car the whole time and we didn't find it until many months later. Its ok, she didn't need it anymore anyway. :) Quick way to wean. We tried to get her other ones but she only wanted hers. That is a lie, that was in 2009. Wow now I am getting years mixed up. Ugh.

For 2010 we didn't do anything. Here is a flash back to last year.

Feb 2, 2010 She grew SO much in just 1 yr!

We had decided that we wanted to purchase a home. We were already looking for almost a year and we didn't find anything. We finally decided to go for it. We found an amazing house, put in an offer and lost it. Bummer. It was a beautiful house and completely just renovated. Hopefully whoever got it is happy. (They got into a bidding war with it, we backed out.) During the process after we got pre-approved and we were searching, things really heated up and there were a ton of changes in financing laws. Ugh. We decided that we weren't going to stress ourselves and take some time looking. I found an AMAZING house that I absolutely fell in love with. Unfortunately we let that one go after a ton of other changes and things that we were told we could have and then all of a sudden couldn't have. Sad day. I am still determined to find an old turn of the century or (preferably) even older. Back to the 1600s or 1700s to restore back to its colonial glory. Some day...

We kept looking for a house and then with Richard's hours being cut our preapproval was cut by almost 60k. So now instead of having little to no choices that would be approved by the type of loan we were applying for, we had next to no options. It was a big decision but we decided that it just wasn't time for us to purchase a home. (That and a lot of other things going on let us finally open our eyes and see that we need to wait.) In the end, the 8k home-buyer credit was not worth going against what the Lord has planned for us. 8k may sound like a lot of money now, however in the long run it isn't worth it. My sanity was faltering and the stress was starting to get to me. Add buying a house to working at least 10 hours of OT every week. I was walking a fine line of crossing over to insanity.

I don't remember when Richard's Subaru decided to take a dump, but that is another story... That was part of everything we didn't know what we were going to do with. That and taxes. Don't even get me started on our taxes this year. It isn't something anyone wants to hear me voice out loud. Over all I am trying to keep this blog happy. So in the end, the house still isn't sold. We don't have a house, and things are uncertain about where we are going to be in the future. Richard is doing a great job in school and even though his hours were cut at work he helps out a lot around the house. He is awesome. I demand a lot from him and he delivers. What a great hubby. =D

We went to a kids day at the park and saw an ice carver and looked around. We didn't stay too long though. The park is small and there were way too many people there. It was a freakishly warm day though.

And to end with my fortune from a cookie at work...
