Ok, I guess not the very beginning, but here it goes.
Well to get things started here I am just going to copy and paste some stuff from our wedding website. I hope to keep everyone up to date on our lives as much as I can. Things seem to be so hectic lately I hardly have time for Kassaundra, Richard and myself. I have been meaning to start a blog for everyone as well as to look back on in the future. So here it goes...

About the Bride
Kristin was born in Tucson, AZ November 9,1985. She lived there until her family moved to Las Vegas, NV in May 1993. She left Las Vegas June 2004, after graduating with High Honors from High School, and moved to Merrimack, NH with her family. In March 2006 she moved to Utah to go to BYU and left school after one semester. In 2007 she moved to Texas after joining the Air Force. After a medical discharge in August 2007 she moved back to Utah and then to New Mexico in October. In September 2008 she moved back to New Hampshire. Since Kristin left Las Vegas she hasn't really decided on what she wants to do in life. Archaeology would be ideal though she doesn't know how to begin. Having a family has always been at the top of the list though. Kristin has an amazing little girl who is growing up so fast. She was born June 3, 2008 and is already a little adventurer. She fits right in.
The arts are a big part of Kristin's life. She gets easily distracted and tries to keep her mind busy. Kristin loves to travel and enjoys the water. She loves history and architecture. Kristin also loves to learn and believes that you can never learn enough. She likes going out, however doesn't mind nights in with a rented movie and popcorn or a good book.

About the Groom
Richard was born in Provo, UT on August 18th, 1985. When he was four years old he and his family moved to New Hampshire. In the summer of 2004, after graduating high school, Richard decided to serve a full-time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints which would be 2 years away from his family and friends. He served in Northern California. In August of 2006, he returned from California with a desire to persue a degree in Animation. Upon acceptance to UAT a private tech university in Arizona, he left for Tempe where he lived and attended classes on campus. After deciding to take a much needed LOA from school, he left to go back home to New Hampshire in the summer of 2008.
Richard enjoys long walks on the beach... sunsets and ponies.... err. Actually he just enjoys a good Pixar movie and relaxing. He loves art and hopes to start a business helping others with their multimedia needs. Richard loves being outdoors, especially golfing and playing baseball. He also loves music and has played the guitar for the past 12 years.
How we met
We missed meeting each other on several occasions over the years even being in the same building at the same time and just not running into each other. It took over 4 years to finally happen...
After moving back to Merrimack, New Hampshire Kristin was going to church and making new friends in the LDS Singles ward. Some of her friends in the Heritage Park ward were telling her how she had to come to Monday evening "family" night. Kristin was reluctant to go because she wasn't really in the mood to leave the house, pack up Kassaundra and deal with everyone talking about her. She went a couple of times and really wasn't feeling it. The first week in October her friend Jason encouraged her to go again just one more time. After the lesson we played UNO and Richard was playing with Kassaundra. After UNO we decided to go to Denny's to hang out some more and of course it was the one night Denny's was closed for repairs. We went across the parking lot to Wendy's and they had just closed their lobby so we went through the drive through and Kristin got a Chocolate Frosty and Richard got an Oreo shake. Kristin paid. We sat in the parking lot hanging out eating our ice cream then went home.
The next day Kristin called Richard to see if he wanted to come over and do a puzzle. Richard decided he would LOVE to do a puzzle and came over later in the evening. They were up until 4:00 am doing the puzzle. Richard went home and in the morning Kristin called him to tell him that she was going to finish the puzzle without him. Richard was upset thinking that Kristin would actually finish the puzzle without him after they had spent so much time on it. He promptly got ready and came over and they finished the puzzle together.
They have been inseparable ever since.

How We Got Engaged
Well, it happened to be a beautiful but drizzly Sunday. Richard wanted to steal Kristin away from Church a little early to go see one of the small castles in the area. Kristin was pretty sure that she knew why too. After walking around and taking a few pictures of the castle and of Kassaundra, Kristin and Richard put Kassaundra back into the car for a moment. Leading Kristin back out to the grass, Richard proposed...
3 times. And finally she said yes on the third.

I will start dictating our life here shortly. I have been in such a mood to cook that I might even start posting my recipes for things on a blog that I will link to this one. I have a problem of not being able to follow recipes, I make them up as I go along. Hopefully by at least attempting to write them down I can remember what I did to try and replicate it in the future.
And in the words of one of my favorite pigs, Porky the Pig....That's all folks!
